For more than 20 years Nina Greville has been hooked on make-up. In high school she studied art and applied make-up for the drama department. She went on to study Performing Arts at Itchen college Southampton, in her native England, where she learned how to apply make-up for the stage.
It wasn’t until after the birth of her children in the 90’s that Nina discovered the art of face and body painting. She honed her craft painting on any willing canvas. A turn of events brought her to the USA in 2001. Without a work visa she turned her skills to running the art program for her children’s school as a volunteer.
In 2003 a change in the law meant a work visa, Nina grasped the opportunity and founded “Tickled Pink’ a company providing make-up artists, face and body painters and temporary tattoo artist for events and projects in Los Angeles, Orange County and Oceanside. The company has grown since then and now consists of 25 freelance artists. In 2007 Tickled Pink provided “KISS” make-up for fans at Cisco’s annual conference where the rock band KISS performed. In 2008 Remy Martin used their services to paint 5 models for their launch party at the Museum of Contemporary Art. In 2009 Greville and her team body painted for Oxygen’s Tori and Dean show “Home Sweet Hollywood”. Greville’s clients include MTV, Playboy, Disney and Hollywood celebrities.
